The service

ChatSnapAI is a browser extension that exports AI chat conversations to files, locally on your device. It has a free tier and a paid Pro tier. By installing the extension or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ChatSnapAI. A Pro license key activates Pro features on up to two devices and is for your use — please don't share, resell, or publish license keys. We may deactivate keys that are shared or obtained fraudulently.

Your content

Your conversations and the files you export are yours. We never receive them, claim no rights over them, and you're responsible for how you use them — including respecting the terms of the AI platforms you use and any laws that apply to your content.

Fair use of the extension

Don't use ChatSnapAI to break the law, to violate the terms of the AI platforms it works with, or to circumvent its licensing. That's the whole list.

Third-party platforms

ChatSnapAI is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Perplexity, DeepSeek, xAI, Poe, or any AI platform — their names and trademarks belong to them. Those platforms change their websites frequently; when they do, a feature may break temporarily until we ship a fix. We work to fix breakages quickly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted compatibility with services we don't control.

Payments, renewals and refunds

Pro purchases are processed by our payment provider, who acts as the merchant of record and handles applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time — you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. If Pro isn't working out within the first 3 days of a purchase, email support@chatsnapai.com and we'll refund it.

Our software, as it is

ChatSnapAI is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continuing to use ChatSnapAI after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions: support@chatsnapai.com.
